create_solution

Client.create_solution(name: str, file_path: str | Path, result_provider: str | ResultProvider | None = None, split_mesh_options: SplitMeshOptions | None = None) → Solution

Create a solution based on a file path. The file must be accessible by the server.

Parameters:

namestr

Name of the solution to create.

file_pathstr | Path

Path to the result file. Must be accessible by the server.

result_providerstr or ResultProvider, optional

Name of the result provider or ResultProvider object. If None, uses the default result provider.

split_mesh_optionsSplitMeshOptions, optional

Options for splitting the mesh.

Returns:

Solution

The newly created solution.
